Koyce D Releases New Video for C.R.Y (Can’t Remember Yesterday)

on May 16th, 2012 at 6:08 pm
Posted In: Blog, Music, Videos

Rising Toronto rapper KDC (Koyce D Caesar), sets the stage for his upcoming project Mission Impossible with the release of the compilation’s debut single C.R.Y (Can’t Remember Yesterday).

Like any emerging artist, Koyce D. is fixed on one thing—captivating his listeners. This doesn’t seem far-fetched after hearing the first single; his work seems to be on a promising path.

However, in spite of being the first artist drafted under the management of Northbridge Music Group, Koyce D is leading the roster with the new track, which raps of old memories and cries for a redemption from the loss of love with smooth vocals. The video keeps it real simple, focusing mainly on the complexity of the song’s storyline.

Check out C.R.Y. (Can’t Remember Yesterday)

The Game seems to have no issues with R&B singer Ne-Yo renaming his new album The R.E.D. Album, after Game’s fourth LP that was dropped last year under the same title.

Surprisingly, in a recent interview with XXL the Compton rapper says, “I dont know what that’s about, but I’ve always known Ne-Yo to be a cool dude, so I’m pretty sure he got his reasoning…[m]ore power to the lil’ homie.”

Game might just be right, because according to Ne-Yo–who initially named his upcoming album The Cracks In Mr. Perfect, the new use of the acronym R.E.D. stands for “Realizing Every Dream”.

Prince Loses $4 Million Lawsuit Against Fragrance Company [NEWS]

on April 17th, 2012 at 8:55 pm
Posted In: Music, News

Prince recently landed himself on the wrong end of the bargain stick after losing to a $4 million lawsuit launched by Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics.

The New York Supreme Court ruled in favor of the company on April 13, after the company alleged in 2006 that the singer failed to promote their fragrance line “3121″, which was inspired by Prince’s album of the same name.

It was reported that he pulled out of the company’s ad campaign at the last minute, in spite of the agreement made to invest $2.5 million in licensing and give Universal a 50 per cent share of the proceeds if he upheld the contract.
